Burberrys collaboration with music
There's nothing I love more than a music collaboration, and as I search for inspiring campaigns for my own work, I stumbled across the new Burberry eyewear campaign. As recent campaigns have shown Burberry has a strong reputation for celebrating new up and coming talent, for example Eddie Redmayne as the face for the spring/summer 12 collection. This eyewear collection stared exciting new artists like duo the day dream club, Marika Hackman and band One Night Only. The campaign is simple but beautiful in black and white with an edge on the classic aviator style. These artists will also release a track and music video each to support the campaign and headline at the Burberry gigs in Paris, Milan, New York and Sydney. The Burberry brand is going up, up and up in a currently struggling market, definitely well deserved!
